Hanwha Techwin Launches Infrared (IR) Technology Camera
PNM-9031RV Panoramic Camera

The NDAA-compliant PNM-9031RV infrared panoramic camera, launched by Hanwha Techwin Europe, provides operators with a seamless, continuous view of a wide area without overlap or gaps. With the PNM-9031RV, operators can monitor events in a 3:1 aspect ratio (6720 x 2240) using fewer cameras, thanks to its 15 MP 4x lens panoramic camera. This feature makes it a highly cost-effective option for organizations seeking high-quality, infrared security cameras.
In addition to separate zones with automatic and manual adjustment capabilities, WiseIR integrated infrared illuminators ensure uninterrupted monitoring in low-light conditions. The IR can illuminate distances of up to 20 meters for all four of the camera's lenses. It offers a 192-degree horizontal field of view and a 65-degree vertical field of view, combined with 120 dB wide dynamic range. The panoramic camera can hand off events to other cameras when necessary.
This high image quality is complemented by automatic image stitching, which provides a seamless single image view of what is happening across a wide area. Operators can define areas of interest to focus on via virtual channels, thereby enabling alerts to be triggered by Intelligent Video Analytics (IVA).
The video analytics capabilities of the PNM-9031RV panoramic camera include motion detection, defocus detection, virtual line, enter/exit detection, audio detection, heatmapping, and appear/disappear. This allows operators to gain more insight into the usage and risks of an area, for example, by seeing high and low activity zones within the monitored area.
Thanks to its hanging hinge, metal cable harness, and easy-to-attach cable clips, the PNM-9031RV camera is quick and easy to install. With the USB connector shipped with the camera, easy installation can be performed via a computer or Wi-Fi using an optional USB dongle and the Wisenet installation application.
